PILLAR 05

E-commerce and web development on Shopify and WooCommerce

Sites and stores that load fast, read mobile-first, and are instrumented to measure from day one. Development, maintenance, and the funnels that convert.

When this pillar makes sense

  • Your site is slow on mobile and you lose visitors before they see anything.
  • The store works, but nobody maintains it and every update breaks something.
  • You need a feature your platform doesn't have and nobody knows how to build it.
  • The site looks good but doesn't convert: people arrive and leave.
  • You don't know what happens on your site because measurement was never set up properly.

What's included

  1. Shopify and WooCommerce development

New stores and sites, or migrations, on the platform that best fits your catalogue and operation.

  2. Maintenance

Updates, backups and bug fixes with a fixed owner, not whoever happens to be free that day.

  3. PHP and SQL customisation

When the platform falls short, hands-on work in code and database to build what is missing without relying on fragile plugins.

  4. UX/UI and conversion funnels

Experience design built around the purchase journey: what the customer sees first, what they doubt, and what moves them forward.

  5. Speed and measurement

Green Core Web Vitals as an acceptance criterion, and analytics and server-side tracking connected before launch.

How we run this pillar

  1. 15-minute diagnostic

We review your current site or your idea, the platform, and what the project has to solve.

  2. Scope and number in 48 hours

A 4–8 week project with fixed deliverables and date, or maintenance on a retainer.

  3. Design before code

Structure, journey and design approved before building, so no finished page gets rebuilt.

  4. Measured launch

It launches with verified speed, connected analytics and documentation for your team.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions about this pillar

Shopify or WooCommerce: which one is right for me?

It depends on your catalogue and operation. Shopify is usually simpler to run and maintain; WooCommerce gives more control and flexibility when you need deep customisation. On the diagnostic call we tell you which fits your case and why.

Do you only build, or design too?

Both. The pillar includes UX/UI focused on conversion funnels. For a full brand identity, the graphic design and video pillar owns the visual system.

Can you maintain a site another agency built?

Yes. We start with a review of the code and platform, document what is there, and then maintain it with a fixed owner.

How long does a web development project take?

Between 4 and 8 weeks depending on scope: number of pages or products, integrations and customisation. The date is fixed in the scope document.
